EAACR — Eurasian Accreditation Certificate Register — is a publicly accessible registry of valid management system certificates issued by accredited certification bodies. The registry allows any organisation or individual to verify that a certificate is genuine, current, and was issued by a body holding valid accreditation at the time of issuance.

EAACR is operated under the oversight of EAASS — the Eurasian Association for Standardisation and Certification. EAASS coordinates accreditation activities across the Eurasian region and maintains the Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) that underpins cross-border acceptance of accredited certificates. The registered office is located in Qingdao, China.

EAASS is the accreditation body — it accredits certification bodies and sets the framework for recognised management system certification in the Eurasian region. EAACR is the public registry that EAASS operates to make verified certificate and accreditation data publicly accessible. Think of EAASS as the governing authority and EAACR as the public window into its accreditation ecosystem.

Yes. Access to the EAACR registry and certificate verification is free of charge for all users. No registration or account is required to search the registry or verify a certificate.

EAACR covers management system certificates issued under internationally recognised standards including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security), ISO 13485 (Medical Devices), ISO 22000 (Food Safety), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery), and others. Go to the Certificate Database and enter the certificate number or the name of the certified organisation. The registry will return the matching record showing the certificate status, standard, scope of certification, issuing certification body, and validity dates.

Each certificate in EAACR has one of the following statuses:

Active — the certificate is valid and current.
Suspended — the certificate has been temporarily suspended, typically pending resolution of a non-conformity. The certified organisation cannot claim conformance during suspension.
Expired — the certificate has passed its validity date and has not been renewed.
Withdrawn — the certificate has been revoked before its expiry date.

If a certificate cannot be found in EAACR, it may mean: the certificate was issued by a certification body not listed in EAACR; the certificate number has been entered incorrectly; or the certificate is not a genuine accredited certificate. If you have concerns, contact the issuing certification body directly or reach out to the EAACR Secretariat.

Yes. Certificates issued by EAACR-listed certification bodies may include a QR code that links directly to the certificate record in the registry. Scanning the QR code will take you to the verified record page where you can confirm the status and scope of certification in real time.

Certification is when a certification body assesses an organisation against a standard (e.g. ISO 9001) and issues a certificate confirming conformity.

Accreditation is when an accreditation body formally assesses and recognises a certification body as competent to issue certificates. Accreditation provides independent assurance that the certification body operates competently, impartially, and consistently in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1.

A certificate issued by an accredited certification body carries significantly more weight than one issued by a non-accredited body.

All certification bodies listed in EAACR hold valid accreditation granted by an EAASS-recognised accreditation body. EAACR currently lists 45 accredited certification bodies operating across 28 countries, covering standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, and others. The registry also includes 9 accreditation bodies recognised under the EAASS Multilateral Recognition Arrangement.

To be listed in EAACR, a certification body must hold valid accreditation from an EAASS-recognised accreditation body. Once accreditation is confirmed, the body can submit an application to the EAACR Secretariat with the required documentation. Full details are available on the For Bodies page.

Yes, if your organisation holds an active accredited certificate or accreditation status listed in EAACR. The EAACR Mark is a digital trust mark that links directly to your verified registry record. It is removed automatically if your certificate status changes. See the EAACR Mark page for details.

Certificate data in EAACR is submitted by the issuing certification body. If you believe the information about your certificate is incorrect, please contact the certification body that issued your certificate directly. If the issue relates to a certification body's own profile or accreditation data, contact the EAACR Secretariat at info@eaass.org.

Training centres listed in EAACR are approved by the Attestation Committee of EAASS. To apply, your organisation must deliver training on management system standards under EAASS-approved programmes. Contact the EAACR Secretariat at info@eaass.org for the application process.
